MCEE 2017 opens in Montreal next week
More than 9,000 members of Canada’s mechanical, electrical and lighting industries will meet in downtown Montreal next week for the MCEE trade show and conference taking place on April 26 and 27 at Place Bonaventure.
MCEE represents the key “systems” that are integral to the built environment: mechanical (plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration), electrical and lighting. Whether it’s the latest fashion in bathtubs, lightbulbs and faucets, to hot water heating systems, tools, vehicles, electrical products, HVACR, new “green” technologies, software solutions and more… MCEE is the ultimate source of new ideas, new products and new solutions for contractors, wholesaler distributors, builders, building managers, engineers, architects, and government and municipal representatives.
A special highlight is the New Product Competition. 120 new and innovative products in 14 categories will be displayed in the New Product Showcase and competition winners will be announced Wednesday, April 26. MCEE visitors can also attend their choice of 23 free seminars.
Admission to all seminars and exhibits is free to industry members who register before 4 pm on April 25. After that date, visitors can register at the door for $20.
MCEE
MCEE is produced by the Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating (CIPH), the Corporation of Master Pipe Mechanics of Quebec (CMMTQ), the Corporation of Master Electricians of Quebec (CMEQ) and the Corporation des entreprises de traitement de l’air et du froid (CETAF). Together, the four associations represent 90% of the region’s plumbing, HVACR, and electrical contractors and wholesaler distributors. IES Montreal (Illuminating Engineering Society) and the Electrical Council of the Electro Federation also support MCEE.
